QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) is the sole statutory awarding body in Ireland for the accreditation of awards on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). For a training provider to offer programmes leading to awards that are recognised on the NFQ, they must agree their quality assurance system with QQI. This is a two-stage process involving provider approval and programme validation. Magnos Consulting specialises in assisting training providers to complete these processes.

Overview of Provider Approval

Agreeing your quality assurance with QQI is a significant process. Having a holistic overview of the entire process can help you to make important business decisions.

Overview of Programme Validation

Once you have achieved provider approval with QQI, each programme you offer must be validated. As with the provider approval process, programme validation is similarly detailed. Having a holistic overview of the entire process can help you to make important business decisions.

We offer a 2-hour in-person discussion to help your organisation to gain that holistic perspective in a comfortable and informal way at a time of your choosing.

Provider Approval Application Assistance

To agree your quality assurance, there is a significant portfolio of documentation that needs to be provided to QQI. This portfolio will be assessed, and you will be required to discuss your quality assurance system with an evaluation panel. The preparation of the documentation and preparation for the evaluation itself are key to the success of the application.

We offer a bespoke service to assist applicant providers (or providers who are re-engaging with QQI) to review and document their quality assurance system in a manner that is consistent with the QQI guidelines.

Programme Validation Application Assistance

Once you have agreed your training quality assurance system with QQI, you will be entitled to submit training programmes for validation. The validation process involves providing evidence of the content and the assessment of your programmes, as well as the resources that you have in place to deliver them.

QQI will then evaluate your programme validation application.

We offer a bespoke service to providers to assist with the preparation of the programme validation documentation in a manner that is consistent with the QQI guidelines.
